Terms of Service

Last updated 2 September 2026

These terms govern your use of Neat Feedback — our website, the dashboard, and the feedback widget you embed on your own sites. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to bind it.

The service

Neat Feedback lets teams collect feedback from an embeddable widget and triage it on a shared board, with optional syncing to external tools. We may add, change or remove features over time. If we remove something you rely on materially, we will give reasonable notice.

Accounts

  • Access is currently by invitation or approved request. We may decline or revoke access at our discretion.
  • Give accurate information when you register, and keep it current.
  • You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your credentials safe. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.
  • You must be at least 16 and legally able to enter into a contract.
  • An account owner who invites teammates is responsible for the access they grant, and for removing people who should no longer have it.

Your content

Projects, feedback, comments, screenshots and files you or your users put into Neat Feedback remain yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, transmit, display and process that content — only to operate the service for you, including making backups and delivering it to integrations you configure. The licence ends when you delete the content or close your account, except for backups still on their normal retention cycle.

Feedback you collect from others

When you embed the widget you decide what to collect and why. You are responsible for:

  • having a lawful basis to collect personal information from the people who use your site, and telling them about it in your own privacy notice;
  • handling their requests about that data — we will pass on any that reach us;
  • not using the widget to collect payment card details, health records, government identifiers or other sensitive categories of data.

Screenshots capture what is on the page at the moment they are taken. Do not place the widget where sensitive information can end up in an image.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law, or infringe anyone's rights;
  • upload malware, or content that is unlawful, harassing or deceptive;
  • probe, scan or interfere with the service, circumvent access controls, or attempt to reach data that is not yours;
  • place unreasonable load on the service, or use it to send unsolicited messages;
  • resell or white-label the service without our written agreement, or copy it to build a competing product.

Integrations and third parties

You may connect a project to external destinations such as an automation platform or a Notion workspace. Doing so sends your feedback data — which can include a submitter's name and email address — to the address you configure. You are responsible for choosing that destination and for what happens to the data once it arrives. Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

Fees

Some plans are paid. Where they are, the price, billing period and any taxes are shown before you subscribe. Fees are payable in advance and, unless the law says otherwise or we state otherwise, are non-refundable. We will give notice before a price change takes effect for you.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if your use puts the service or other customers at risk, or if we are required to by law — with notice where it is reasonable to give it. On termination your right to use the service ends; ask us before you close the account if you need an export of your data.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will meet your requirements. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or one hundred US dollars.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your content, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms — including claims by people whose feedback you collected.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do we will change the "last updated" date above, and for material changes we will give notice in the product or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of Karachi have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute — except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
